About the experience

Venture out to discover one of the bluest and most stunning rivers in the entire Dominican Republic! This spectacular hiking and water route will immerse you in the heart of nature. You'll start with an exciting safari ride, then trek on foot to the majestic confluence of the Río Partido and Río Jamao. Your journey will begin at the famous "Charco La Paila" and continue, exploring 5 of the most beautiful and attractive natural pools you've ever seen. Guided by our young local experts, you'll marvel at unreal colors, swim in perfect waters, and culminate this adventure with a delicious typical feast lovingly prepared by a local family.

Minimum age: 16 years and up

* Important: Good physical condition is required, as the route will challenge you to walk for hours, swim, and conquer steep hills. Please avoid bringing valuables that could get lost or damaged in the water.

The experience includes: life vests, internal 4x4 safari transportation, local guides, parking, snack, lunch, and photographs.

Your Adventure Itinerary
8:30 A.M. - 9:10 A.M. | Transportation
Your adventure begins by boarding the safari or 4x4 transport, which will take you directly from the meeting point to the start of the hiking trail.
9:40 A.M. | Equipment and Briefing
Before venturing into the forest, your guide will provide the necessary equipment and share key recommendations for conquering the route safely and enjoyably.
11:00 A.M. | Snack and Rest
We'll take a strategic break along the way for you to enjoy an authentic local snack (local cheese and rodao).
2:30 P.M. | Hearty Lunch
We'll celebrate the end of the journey at a community home with a truly Dominican dish: rice, beans, chicken, salad, a good glass of water, and coffee.
