   We welcome you to the *Ron Barceló Historic Center*, located in a restored 1880 colonial mansion in the heart of San Pedro. This is where it all began in 1929.

   1. *The Rum Museum:* You'll learn about the history of the Barceló family, the old stills, and sugarcane tools. You'll see original photos of the first distillery.
   
   2. *The Secret of Flavor:* Our master guide will explain why Dominican rum is different. You'll learn about molasses fermentation, distillation, and tropical aging, which is 2 times faster than in Europe.
   
   3. *The Barrel Cellar:* You'll enter the most photographed room, surrounded by hundreds of white American oak barrels where Barceló Imperial rests for 3 to 10 years. The aroma is incredible.
   
   4. *The Guided Tasting:* The best part. A professional tasting of 3 rums:
   - Barceló Blanco (perfect for cocktails)
